Terms of Service

Session Duration & Attendance

1.1 Each session lasts 1 hour

1.2 Late arrivals: Sessions start at the scheduled time and will end as originally planned. There are no extensions for late arrivals

1.3 Fitness Assessment: All new clients must complete a fitness assessment before starting regular sessions. The assessment requires a deposit of £20, which will be deducted from the first payment if the client signs up for a package otherwise, it’s non-refundable

1.4 Clients may reschedule the Fitness Assessment without penalty if at least 24 hours' notice is given. The deposit will be applied to the new appointment

1.5 If rescheduling is requested with less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for a future appointment

Payment & Scheduling

2.1 Payment is required on the last Friday of each month for the upcoming training period

2.2 No rolling over sessions – sessions do not carry over into the next month. Clients must use all sessions within their payment period

2.3 Holiday Policy:

a) Clients are responsible for managing their training schedule around planned holidays

b) If you know you will be away, do not pay for sessions you won’t use

c) If you choose to proceed with payment, it is your responsibility to complete all sessions within the payment period (e.g., by scheduling additional sessions before departure)

d) Sessions will not be extended or rolled over to future months due to holidays

Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged in full and the session will be forfeited

3.2 Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the session will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may only be approved at the trainer’s discretion, depending on schedule availability. If approved, the rescheduled session must be completed within the same week; otherwise, the original session will be forfeited

3.3 In the event of illness or emergency, clients are still expected to provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Requests outside this window will be charged as normal unless otherwise approved by the trainer

3.4 Documented medical issues (e.g., doctor's note) may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may result in session credit, not refund

3.5 No-shows (no contact and no attendance) will be treated as a forfeited session and charged in full

3.6 Trainer Rescheduling: If the trainer must reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, the client may choose to:

a) Reschedule the session without penalty, or

b) Receive a session credit for use within the same payment period

 

Code of Conduct & Trainer-Client Relationship

4.1 Clients must inform the trainer of any health conditions or injuries that may impact training

4.2 Respect & professionalism are expected at all times. Any inappropriate behavior, including harassment, aggression, or disrespect, may result in immediate termination of services with no refund

 

Session Credits & Termination Policy

5.1 Payments are non-refundable once the payment period begins

5.2 If a client cannot continue training for documented medical reasons, any remaining sessions will be credited for future use rather than refunded

5.3 onemetabolic reserves the right to terminate services immediately if any of the following occur:

a) The client repeatedly cancels or fails to attend scheduled sessions

b) The client refuses to follow safety guidance or training protocols

c) The client engages in misconduct, including but not limited to:
  → Use of racist, sexist, discriminatory, or abusive language
  → Harassment (verbal, physical, or written) toward the trainer, other clients, or members of the public
  → Any behaviour deemed threatening, inappropriate, or harmful

In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and onemetabolic reserves the right to refuse future services to the individual

Limitation of Liability

6.1 Clients acknowledge that exercise carries inherent risks and assume responsibility for their participation

6.2 onemetabolic is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct

6.3 Clients must ensure they are medically fit before training

Introductory Offer Terms

7.1 Clients who redeem the ‘4+1 introductory offer’ are subject to the same Terms & Conditions outlined above

7.2 Clients may choose their training frequency, with a minimum of one session per week

Privacy & Marketing

8.1 Client workout videos and progress photos may be used for marketing only with explicit consent

8.2 By providing a written testimonial (e.g., Google review, email feedback), clients agree that their words may be used for marketing purposes unless they request otherwise
